'GIS Lite' is an early stage development of a full GIS package, containing cultural data, satellite imagery, well/field databases and some mapping, but without extensive digital seismic, well, detailed mapping or reports. Companies investigating new geographical areas or starting GIS studies find them a very useful introductory resource and an excellent way to manage their own data sets.
Seismic Spec is available for the following regions:
- Alaska and Arctic Canada
- United Kingdom South-West Approaches
- Netherlands North Sea
Lynx has gained the rights to work with some hardcopy seismic datasets gathered from various countries around the world and to make them available to interested parties. The seismic data are scanned and vectorised into SEG-Y format, post-stack processed and then reconciled with the relevant navigation information. The data is ready for workstation loading.
